Shipping policy
At Dewey Catchem and How our goal is to offer you the best shipping options, no matter where you live. We do not hide our shipping costs in the price of the product and call it "free shipping". We give you the lowest price possible providing you the chance to order more for less! Every day, we deliver to customers across the U.S., ensuring that we provide the very highest levels of responsiveness to you at all times.
We ship the majority of our packages via SpeeDee & UPS. These companies offer superior service with on time tracking and delivery dates. Business days do not include weekends or holidays, or when UPS or SpeeDee does not pick up. Please allow sufficient time for your order to arrive. If, for some reason you do not receive your order, we will do our best to provide proof of delivery from the carrier. Once proof of delivery is provided, and you still have not received the order, it is then up to the customer to file a claim with the carrier so that the proper documentation can be filed for replacement purposes.
The time frame for order delivery is divided into two parts:

Processing time: Order verification, tailoring, quality check and packaging. It is our goal to have all orders leave our facility withing 24 hours of receiving your order. Sometimes it takes longer due to inventories, traffic and time of year. If there will be an unforeseen delay we will contact you.

Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our warehouse to the destination. US orders are shipped by the US Postal Service, SpeeDee, DHL and UPS. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 1 and 5 business days to arrive at their destination. The US Postal Service always takes the longest time to arrive and they don't guarantee a time frame.
FREIGHT SHIPPING
Although we offer free shipping under certain conditions we also have some items that are excluded from the free shipping. Here's an example:
To ship out an Otter Lodge XT requires an LTL carrier as the item is too big and too heavy for regular USP or USPS. On that item page there are delivery options to choose before putting the item in your cart. One option is IN-STORE DELIVERY which gives you a price based on you coming into the store to pick it up. The second option is FREIGHT DELIVERY which is the total price you will pay to have the shelter shipped to you via LTL. This number is a guesstimate. Depending on your delivery address the shipping could be higher or lower. Because of this variance each freight order will receive a phone call to you to confirm these options. Once we receive a quote for the shipping of the item we will call you again to get your OK to ship the item at that cost. It is only then that your CC or PP account will be charged.
